Weekend

campus

Live through a weekend dedicated to thought, debate, inspiration and reflection regarding the latest news about international illustration and its connections with art, markets, culture and the contemporary society.

Who is creating, how is creation being done, what sights of the world is illustration bringing to us, how is the work of an illustrator being read, what is its role in our environment, which are the new languages and formats and which are the artistic venues and the professional opportunities.

Conversations with the Authors, Interviews, Dialogs, Debates, Case Studies, Project Exhibitions, Coffees, Meetings, Prizes and Night Activities

TAKE ADVANTEG OF THIS OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN FROM AND DIALOGUE WITH OUR SPECIAL GUESTS AT ILUSTRATOUR 2015.

The return to the classics.

Old and modern classics from literature, arts and history: they are filling our bookshelves and screens, also seducing our tastes. Illustrated books carefully edited and printed, TV series, articles or websites are becoming a new attractive approach to past biographies, myths, events and stories. Let’s make a journey through illustrated and not illustrated classics.

* With Javier Olivares, Antonio Santos, Jorge González and others to be confirmed. Guided by Jesús Marchamalo

Project exhibitions where the creativity, the exchange, the mixture and the community are the main characters that lead illustration beyond its usual habitat.

The best comes out of mixtures: “The time machine” (La máquina del tiempo).

How do we transform three graphic novels into a dramatic play.

With Aitor Saraiba and La Furia Teatro.
